Wisteria on fence #2
I wanted to create a painting of wisteria and spent a year looking for the right image then I discovered, just down the road from where I live, a fantastic wisteria bush along a fence. I took some reference photos and spent many hours painting. This one took me about 80 hours! Totally worth all the effort. I could spend hours looking at it, finding new things in the shadows and spaces. This is also available as a canvas print.
